I had a good time watching the court TV lasts night like I always do. Aside from learning and understanding legal matters. Plaintiff and Defendant are just sometimes funny. Lasts night, the plaintiff was the tenant and seeking for her security deposit. The defendant was counter suing for all the damages and the toilet replacement. That was ridiculous that somebody would get interested in stealing a toilet. According to the defendant, she gave 60 days noticed to the plaintiff to find a new place because she was selling the place. The plaintiff was looking for a new place to move in with the help of her grown up son. Her son found it on Craigslist, sent money via Western Union for deposit and ended scammed.

The funniest part, plaintiff was putting the blamed to her land lord why they were scammed for $500 and she wants her land lord to pay for it. Simple thing and simple case. Of course, she did not get that money, she was not awarded of her own foolishness. On the other hand, the defendant who was the land lord did not get what she was counter suing for those minor damages. The judge was not convinced that her toilet was been stolen by the plaintiff. Land lord got nothing. Plaintiff won but did not get the whole amount that she wanted. I knew that it is hard to be a land lord and at the same time it is not easy to be a tenant. Communication and better understanding of agreement are the key and that is all matters.

I was watching a night time gossip show lasts night and they had their summary for the people who made the unforgettable moment. One caught my attention was the woman that went ballistic because her car was been towed. There are rules that you cannot park in a certain places because property owner would call a tow truck service to tow your car. She was mad because she has to pay over $200. That was really expensive and would give her the lesson to follow the law and signs that she read.
