My kids are all about being online all the time but since we live way out here we don’t really have a lot of choice when it comes to our internet. I went to the web at work to find Internet Packages that were available in our area and got some for the kids for Christmas – now I’m having to lay down some ground rules for how much time each day they’re allowed to spend online – it’s too much!

They’re great kids, don’t get me wrong, but it seems like all they want to do is sit at home and http://curs.unc.edu/curs-pdf-downloads/recentlyreleased/goodschoolsreport.pdf and talk to their friends and when they’re not doing that they’re texting and talking to people on the phone nonstop which just isn’t working for me, to be honest with you. I love them to death but I think it’s important to put down ground rules about this kind of stuff or they’re going to head in a direction I don’t want them going in.
